A message from the astronomer royal for scotland

Prof Catherine Heymans, the Astronomer Royal for Scotland, very kindly recorded a message for Michael and everyone who came along to his book launch for the MS Society Scotland earlier this week.

She said that 'Science starts with curiosity and asking the big questions, that no one knows the answers to and then going out to look for the answers'.

Michael, has set himself a pretty big target 🛰️ 🚀

To raise at least £10,000 for MS Society Scotland

And now that the book has officially launched, we need to turn the ambition into donations.

📚Buy a copy of the book. All proceeds are going towards the fundraising.

💷 Donate. We’ve also set up a JustGiving page for people who would simply like to contribute.

🏘️ Or share. Because somewhere in your network there may be someone who loves space, knows someone affected by MS, or simply likes the idea of helping a 12-year-old have a proper crack at an ambitious target.
